Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients, including documentation of nursing care, reporting symptoms, changes in condition, vital signs, and reviewing diagnostic tests to evaluate patient status.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans; create and modify treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders.
- Educate patients and families regarding radiation treatment, potential side effects, skin care during treatment, and provide psychological support throughout care.
- Prepare and assist patients with examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring age- and culturally appropriate care.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, perform patient tests, and maintain accurate, compliant documentation per policies, procedures, and physician orders.
- Communicate care plans effectively to patients, families, and team members while ensuring HIPAA compliance, and adjust daily priorities to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work extremely well in a group setting
Education:
- Idaho RN License, required upon hire.
- CPR/BLS certification, required upon hire.
- Oncology nurse certification, and/or radiation nursing certification strongly preferred.
