Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities and prevent loss.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Manage conflicts effectively, employing conflict management techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
