Required Responsibilities
Work both independently and as part of a team to accomplish work tasks
Meet deadlines and manage unexpected changes in a time-sensitive environment
Socialize with customers and business partners to improve business relationships and promote brand awareness
Use day-of-operation client software and interface to ensure that every flight has the right level of service
Audit and ensure all catering specification requirements are fulfilled onboard before flight departure
Control conformity and quality of onboard catering products before flight departure
Communicate with team members and customers in-person or through electronic channels to furnish information regarding flight information, specifications, and other relatable content
Input audit reports into the company-issued platform for all scheduled flight assignments
Address catering-related customer issues, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within designated time limits; follow up to ensure adequate resolution
Attend both on and offsite base visits for customer-focused presentations and other engagement opportunities
Make decisions to address issues keeping in line with Newrest policies, procedures, and core values
Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as cargo vans in areas of congestion both on and off the air operations area ("ramp")
Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.
Other job duties may be assigned based on operational need
Education/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrior experience in hospitality, airline and aviation-related industry is preferred but not required
Valid and unexpired driver's license required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
Aptitude for problem-solving
Customer service orientation and ability to adapt and respond to different types of personalities
Ability to comply with personal decorum, professional conduct, and personal appearance guidelines
Ability to be self-disciplined and self-managed to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work with little supervision
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
Ability to work in various weather conditions (e.g., heat, rain, snow, etc.)
Ability to work in a physically demanding role that requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting to 50 pounds (i.e., pushing/pulling beverage or food carts/carriers)
