Safari Raw Inc is a small business in Saint Paul, MN. We are professional, fast-paced, fun and our goal is to Safari Raw Inc. is a holding company of BARF World Inc.® that has been in business since the summer of the year 2000. Renowned Australian veterinary surgeon, Dr. Ian Billinghurst and pharmacist, Robert Mueller got together with a few other animal loving people to create BARF World Inc. Ian and Rob collectively comprise the most experience in the raw diet industry and are both considered the pioneers of the raw food movement. BARF World is considered the originators of the raw meat diet movement and the first to sell biologically appropriate raw food (BARF) diets to pet owners. We are looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to join our small, diverse, quirky, and utterly devoted team. This position requires a combination of excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, confidence working both independently and as a team. Has knowledge or willingness to learn about pet health. JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for handling current and new customer phone calls and inquiries about BARF World Products. Assess pet diet needs and make suggestions to help improve their health with our product offerings. Assist customers with placement of orders, account questions, billing, cancellations and other queries. Achieve maximum profitability and growth by account retention and turning inquiries into new Auto BARF memberships. Assist management and offer support in completing tasks and projects. Willing to cross-train in our fulfillment warehouse and retail store as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service fluid, high volume environment or the equivalent.
- Manage time efficiently and assess projects by priority.
- Meet sales goals and can accomplish daily tasks
- Organized and self motivated
- Excellent written and oral communications.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications and Google Docs.
- Results oriented and able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good work ethics and a team player that can always lend a hand.
- Caring, compassionate, and being able to relate to the customer.
- Excellent listening and phone skills.
- Able to multitask
- Has reliable transportation
YOUR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Services new and existing customers through incoming calls, process orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing order schedules.
- Proactive in finding information required to complete tasks and find solutions for customer issues.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers and peers.
- Updating various forms, spreadsheets, and sales trackers on a regular and as needed basis.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports, i.e. Weekly work plans and monthly analysis.
- Weekly reporting of client interaction status, and current project or task progress.
- Assist in projects and research as needed.
- Follow safety training and procedures
