Position Details:
As the Reading Coach within the School & Community Programs team, you will provide direct instruction using evidence-based curricula to support development of skills including phonological awareness, decoding, and spelling. Furthermore, you will collaborate with teachers and families to promote literacy engagement, enhance student growth, and offer strategies for reinforcing learning at home and in the classroom.
Reporting to the Reading Service Manager, this is a part-time, non-exempt, hybrid position.

You Will:
Deliver an evidence-based reading intervention (Sound Partners) that targets at-risk readers in kindergarten through second grade.
Plan and lead small group lessons for 10–12 students per intervention cycle, meeting three times weekly for ten weeks during the school year and four times weekly for six weeks during the Summer Intensive.
Conduct family intake meetings, by phone or in person, to gather background information and obtain consent for student participation in the program.
Foster school and caregiver engagement through close collaboration and frequent communication, including participation in partnership meetings, and providing updates on student progress throughout intervention cycles.
Administer detailed pre- and post-intervention assessments, using data to inform eligibility, guide instruction, measure growth, and make appropriate recommendations for school-based support.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of student attendance, parent contact, assessment data, and student progress towards instructional goals.
Participate in one-hour weekly supervision to ensure the program is implemented with fidelity.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
1 year of prior experience working with elementary-aged students.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
