Raven3 Real Estate is seeking a proactive and analytical Asset Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily, residential, and mobile home park assets across New York and New Jersey. This role is responsible for maximizing property performance, overseeing capital projects, and aligning operations with ownership’s investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial performance of 50+ properties, ensuring NOI optimization
- Conduct regular financial and operational reviews with property management
- Oversee capex and renovation planning, timelines, and budget tracking
- Monitor leasing velocity, rental growth, and expense controls
- Coordinate with accounting to ensure clean monthly reporting
- Lead hold/sell/refinance analysis across portfolio
- Develop business plans for new acquisitions and repositioning strategies
- Maintain lender and investor compliance and reporting standards
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
- Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating repairs and improvements as necessary.
- Handle administrative tasks related to real estate management, including lease agreements, tenant communications, and record-keeping.
- Negotiate lease terms and agreements with tenants and vendors to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including LIHTC and Section 8 requirements, ensuring compliance across all properties.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance requests and property performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on property management strategies and objectives.
Experience
- 3–7 years of asset management or real estate finance experience
- Strong grasp of property-level financials, rent rolls, and pro forma analysis
- Experience with residential/multifamily or manufactured housing preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, AppFolio or equivalent systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
