The Real Estate Compliance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all real estate transaction requirements, regulations, and brokerage policies. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in real estate transaction coordination or compliance and a passion for maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit real estate transaction files for compliance with state, federal, and brokerage regulations.
- Ensure all contracts, disclosures, and documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines.
- Coordinate with agents, clients, and third parties (e.g., title companies, lenders) to resolve compliance issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Georgia real estate laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist in training agents on compliance procedures and brokerage policies.
- Manage and organize transaction records in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Identify and address potential compliance risks proactively.
- Support the brokerage team in maintaining efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate transaction coordination, compliance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of real estate contracts, disclosures, and Georgia real estate regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with agents, clients, and external partners.
- Proficiency in real estate software (e.g., MLS, transaction management systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Georgia Real Estate License preferred but not required.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications a plus.
