Clearpath FCU is currently seeking for a highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Full-Time REAL ESTATE LOAN PROCESSOR (for 2nd Mortgages only) .
Job Summary:
Responsible for obtaining loan applications , prepare loan files for underwriters review. Provide information to members regarding program types, terms, and rates. Inform and advise members of the most appropriate financing options available to them. Provide excellent service to Clearpath members. Maintain and project Clearpath professional reputation and image.
Essential Job Functions
- Obtain fully completed and accurate applications from members that include the proper documentation, as required by the underwriter, policy and procedure.
- Responsible for quoting HELOC and 2nd TD Loan rates and terms to the member.
- Input loans into Point and other lending software (if applicable) order credit reports as required.
- Ensure all application packages submitted to the underwriter are of a high quality standard.
- Cross-sells other Clearpath loan and deposit products and services.
- Communicate with the members during the loan process: relay the underwriter's decision, obtain documentation as required by the underwriter, and arrange for document signing.
- Order and follow-up with vendors regarding appraisals, titles, flood certifications, insurance, and demand statements.
- Assist the member at document signing, and arrange for notary service.
- Book and fund the loan in accordance with credit union guidelines, title company requirements, as designated by the funding instructions.
- Prepare the files, and collateral files for audit.
- Follow-up for the recorded deed and final title policy, and file in the appropriate manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-Preferred:
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- 2+ years previous experience in real estate loan processing
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in cross selling products
- Experience with Point, Symitar, DocMagic
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
-Must be bondable/insurable
-Duties require professional oral and written communication
-Possess an ability to interact effectively with Clearpath members, co-workers, and management in a timely and professional manner.
