Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service. This position requires a strong understanding of a medical front desk position. Needs proficient use of office systems to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Knowledge of electronic health records is a must. Our office uses e-clinical works.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical administrative support, including managing patient records and documentation.
- Be able to check patient out and reappoint them for their next office visit.
- Assist check in staff by collecting co-pays.
- Handle insurance verification processes to confirm patient coverage and eligibility.
- Assist patients with inquiries via phone systems, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and administrative documents.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Utilize e-clinical works software for electronic health record management and data entry.
Skills
- Proficient in medical front desk operations in a physician's office
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
- Experience with office administration tasks, data entry, and document management.
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes and requirements.
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a must.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
