Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in engaging and scheduling subjects for our clinical trials. Responsibilities:
The Recruitment Specialist will mainly be responsible for phone screening potential study participants, entering information into the clinical database, and scheduling potential participants for on-site visits. You would:
- Maintain responsibility for daily recruitment activities including making 75+ outbound calls a day, responding to patients who are interested in participating in a clinical trial and assessing eligibility against protocol specific inclusion and exclusion criteria
- Answer incoming calls from potential study patients and conduct phone screens
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of assigned medical and psychiatric indications
- Review patient database, vendor portals, and other electronic platforms as required to identify potential study patients
- Ensure accurate collection and entry of patient information into the relevant databases while on the phone
- Ensure courteous and efficient service is provided to all callers
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings as applicable
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in clinical research recruitment
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Sales experience (preferred)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
- Marketing experience (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort with speaking to psychiatric patients
- Able to quickly adapt to changes in responsibilities, workloads, and priorities
Hours:
Monday - Thursday Options for 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST or 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST with option for more flexibility in hours after fully trained.
3 Month Probationary period with potential for Full Time after 3 months, dependent on our needs and your skills.
Compensation:
Starting at $20 per hour with an incentive program for recruitment success.
