Part-Time Delivery Driver – As Needed
A leading retail design company is looking for a part-time driver to support deliveries and vendor pickups on an as-needed basis. This role involves operating 16’ and 26’ box trucks as well as cargo vans, primarily on weekdays.
Position Details:
- Deliveries and pickups within a 300-mile radius of our facility
- No set routes — schedules and destinations vary weekly
- Flexible, on-call work based on business needs
Requirements:
- No CDL required, but a valid DOT medical card is mandatory
- Prior experience driving box trucks is required
- Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service rules
- Must own a smartphone with Bluetooth and internet access to connect to vehicle fleet apps and log driver hours
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading; includes frequent lifting up to 40 lbs., with occasional lifting over 40 lbs.
- Must pass a drug screening and DOT physical
- Professional appearance and demeanor required for customer-facing interactions
