About Go Behavioral
Go Behavioral LLC is a mission-driven ABA therapy provider supporting children with autism and their families across California and Florida. With a strong foundation in clinical ethics, cultural responsiveness, and quality care, we are expanding our team and seeking a seasoned, self-directed Regional HR Manager to lead our HR operations with confidence, integrity, and a deep understanding of the behavioral healthcare space.
Position Summary
This is a high-impact leadership role based in Fresno, CA, overseeing HR operations across all Go Behavioral locations. The Regional HR Manager will supervise the HR and recruiting team, manage compliance and investigations, support performance systems, and collaborate closely with the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Supervisor.We are looking for someone who can operate independently, navigate both HR law and clinical ethics, and help shape a healthy, compliant, and values-driven workplace. Travel to other cities is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Oversight
- Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and offboarding
- Supervise HR and recruiting staff and ensure streamlined, effective daily operations
- Partner with clinical leadership to align HR strategy with clinical workflows, supervision structures, and BACB ethical standards
- Oversee credential tracking for RBTs, BCBAs, CPR, Live Scan, and onboarding documentation
- Lead internal HR audits and Workers’ Compensation reporting
- Develop and implement company-wide HR policies in alignment with labor law and the BACB Ethics Code
Compliance, Investigations & Ethical Oversight
- Conduct and resolve workplace investigations and employee concerns with professionalism and discretion
- Ensure all HR practices align with California employment law and uphold ethical standards required in ABA service delivery
- Support leadership in managing disciplinary action, performance concerns, and sensitive personnel issues
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of clinical and employee documentation
Talent Development & Clinical Support
- Support onboarding and retention of clinical and administrative staff with a focus on service readiness and regulatory compliance
- Help managers implement performance review systems, documentation, and development plans
- Provide internal training on workplace conduct, professional communication, and supervisory responsibilities
- Ensure RBT and BCBA staffing supports ethical client care and supervisory compliance
Recruitment, Partnerships & Strategy
- Drive recruitment strategy in collaboration with clinical and operations teams
- Represent Go Behavioral at job fairs, university events, and community networking opportunities
- Develop and maintain partnerships with ABA training programs and schools to support long-term recruitment pipelines
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, hiring timelines, training compliance) to guide decisions and improve systems
Culture & Communication
Champion a positive, ethical, and inclusive culture across all clinics
- Lead internal communication efforts and recognition programs that foster engagement and transparency
- Act as a trusted, approachable resource for all levels of staff
- Support leadership in resolving ethical dilemmas related to both HR and clinical operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or multi-site supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance standards
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or ABA settings highly preferred
- Familiarity with the BACB Ethics Code and its relevance to hiring, supervision, and staff conduct
- Strong skills in conflict resolution, training, investigations, and team leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
- HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR, or higher)
- Ability to travel to other cities is a plus, but not required
