POSITION OVERVIEW
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) leads regional business development efforts by managing and mentoring a high-performing team of Business Developers, Account Managers, and Project Managers. This role is central to executing strategic sales initiatives, expanding market presence, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction across a multi-branch territory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership: Drive team performance to exceed regional sales goals
Strategic Business Development: Identify new growth opportunities and guide prospecting efforts
Client Success: Partner with Account Managers to foster client relationships and retention
Project Support: Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure seamless handoffs and execution
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop regional sales plans aligned with company objectives
Performance Tracking: Analyze metrics, forecast trends, and report to senior leadership
Team Coaching: Mentor team members and encourage continuous professional growth
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and local dynamics
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with marketing, operations, and finance to support goals
What We're Looking For
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
5+ years of proven experience in sales leadership, ideally within commercial landscaping, construction, or a related industry
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated success in managing sales teams and achieving growth targets
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Deep understanding of sales pipelines, CRM systems, and territory management
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and financial data
Willingness to travel within the assigned region
