Join Our Team as a Warehouse Manager – Best Cheer Stone
Are you an experienced warehouse manager looking for a new challenge? Join Best Cheer Stone and take charge of our expansive 100,000 sq ft warehouse. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in overseeing large-scale warehouse operations and managing the daily tasks and responsibilities of the warehouse team. Responsibilities:
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization and accessibility
- Ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions, verifying documentation, and conducting regular audits
- Interface with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience
- Maintain accurate records of items, document necessary information, and utilize reports to monitor and project warehouse status
- Identify areas for improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices for enhanced efficiency
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Develop and implement staff schedules and workflows to optimize warehouse operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- WMS Experience: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role - 5-7 years required
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
