The Relationship Manager Associate II is a client-facing role that performs clerical functions in support of the Wealth Management department, specifically the processing and administration of trust accounts.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as integral support role for the client relationship; provides excellent customer service, coordinates communications and meetings, and assists with operational components for the account.
- Assists with opening and closing trust accounts, arranging asset transfers, updating trust account records, paying bills, and disbursing proceeds.
- Assists with the preparation of correspondence and client reports, and reports findings directly to other areas within the Bank, as applicable.
- Ensures that client records are maintained, according to policy and procedure, either electronically or as hard copy.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for contributions, distributions, and securities orders for client accounts, as applicable.
- Remains up-to-date on the computer systems used to process client transactions, open and close accounts, and print client reports.
- Assists the Relationship Managers with ensuring all department documents and functions of the department comply with applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree, required.
- 1-2 years’ related experience as a trust assistant, or similar financial services position, preferred.
