Estimator
The Estimator will primarily be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate costs across the single-family home product lines. The Estimator should be comfortable with running projects with very limited support from management. They will need to be well-organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Complete the initial base house and option estimates.
- Make adjustments to estimates based on feedback from the field.
- Review the blueprints and request changes as needed.
- Implementing new options for the divisions as requested.
- Create parts and load pricing for new projects.
- Review and process bids in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Residential estimating experience
- 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry
- Detail-oriented with the capability to concentrate on quality and accuracy
- Able to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Communicate in a persuasive and highly effective manner
Remote:
- Fully remote after onboarding and training
- Will need to be in office 1-2 days/week during onboarding
- Offices located in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Melbourne
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
