The Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases is looking to hire a research coordinator to aid human research lab activities, molecular biology techniques, and protocol development. The candidate is desired to have experience with working in BSL-2 labs, grant administration, research coordination, and data collection, and/or facilitating the patient experience in research projects. The candidate must be detail oriented and highly organized. They must have strong written and verbal communication skills to include the ability to generate high quality, technical writing and written/oral presentations.
Responsibilities include coordinating multiple research protocols and grant submissions, as well as assisting or conducting a variety of scientific experiments and research projects of limited complexity under general supervision.
