In this role, you’ll work under the guidance of our Data Analytics Section Chief and take the lead on high-level analytical projects. As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and narratives that highlight key trends and performance metrics. You’ll play a central role in shaping how data is used to support decision-making across the department and beyond.
This position is all about curiosity and creativity—digging into complex datasets, crafting user-friendly tools, and continuously refining your work based on feedback in an agile, iterative environment. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing development of Open FI$Cal, our public-facing transparency site, and support special projects, audits, and high-visibility reports for leadership and oversight bodies.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience using Power BI, R, or another business intelligence app to develop BI dashboards and reports
- Experience with coding in Power BI DAX, R, Python, SQL, or related languages
- Experience with complex statistical and/or data analysis
- Experience with data mining in cloud, databases, or ERP systems and data cleaning
- Experience with formulating conclusions and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Experience with reporting writing based in statistical data research and analysis
