Job Summary
Support for NISAR and SDC programs.
Essential Job Duties
- Work with Prof. Elachi on the strategy to execute the activity and on defining future activities.
- Work with Prof. Elachi and his postdoc to analyze NISAR radar data.
- Participate in the writing and publication of results in open literature.
- Calibrate NISAR images and register them to relevant images from other international satellite images.
- Support SDC mission studies, documentation, and reports.
- Maintain database of commercial needs for SDC capabilities.
- Support NISAR Project Science Team.
Basic Qualifications
- Advanced degree in physics, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with NISAR.
- Experience in space mission data analysis and significant publication record.
Preferred Qualifications
- 20 years' experience in aerospace mission design and/or operations.
