The Research Scientist II is a senior-level laboratory or clinical research individual who conducts research involving the understanding of human diseases and the improvement of human health. S/he engages in clinical investigation or other research, production, technical writing, and related activities. The Research Scientist II make take the lead in the creation or participation of specific research projects.
