Position Overview
This position is primarily responsible for sales performance in a defined territory through managing independent sales reps and a large residential dealer network. This role collaborates, provides direction, training, tools, and motivation that enable the sales territory to meet its goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Works closely with the Residential Inside Sales Manager and the Residential National Sales Manager to support and manage a large independent rep and dealer network.
- Work with dealers and independent representatives to provide outstanding service.
- Works to create and review reports and KPIs to measure individual rep, dealer, and territory success.
- Works with reps on strategic account and territory planning.
- Works with reps on product penetration assessments and strategies.
- Works to train reps and dealers on product value propositions.
- Collaborates to create and document standardized workflow processes for the residential sales team.
- Help drive process and sales operational improvements.
- Supports dealer sales with custom quoting and other sales, service, and support functions.
- Provide competitor and product feedback to support product and marketing initiatives.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Competencies
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office, CRM & ERP systems. Zoho & Epicor Kinetic are preferred.
- Team player, self-motivated, positive disposition, and problem-solver.
- Strong time management skills including prioritizing short- and long-term objectives and can work well under pressure.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly with proprietary applications and emerging technology.
- Balanced ability to dive into details and think strategically.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Responsible for the performance and development of independent sales representatives in collaboration with sales management.
Physical Demands
- Mostly sedentary role.
- Ability to lift, pull or push up to 20 lbs.; anything over 50 lbs. is to be assisted.

- Hourly + commission DOE

Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly + Commissions with a total compensation up to $80K DOE
- Commissions are based on a percentage of sales

Travel
- Some territory and/or trade show travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience
- 2-3 years of sales / account management experience preferably in a channel sales environment.
- Documented success surpassing sales targets.
- Proven ability to build sustainable partnerships and customer relationships.
- Sales training experience and / or executive level presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
