Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. This role requires a combination of technical skills and creativity, making it essential for candidates to be proficient in various painting techniques and tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform drywall repairs and caulking to ensure smooth finishes.
- Work on both residential and commercial projects, adapting techniques as required.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in drywall installation and repair techniques.
- Experience with maintenance person tasks related to painting and remodeling projects.
- Knowledge of commercial painting practices and standards.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools related to the trade.
- Strong skills in caulking and plastering for seamless finishes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
