Position Details
The Residential Worker plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centered care to residents in an assisted living setting for individuals with mental health needs. This position is responsible for supporting residents in their daily lives, promoting independence, and fostering a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Life Skills Development: Actively engage residents in daily living activities to enhance their independence and functional abilities.
- Community Integration: Accompany residents to medical appointments, treatment sessions, and other community outings, ensuring safety and support throughout.
- Individual Support: Provide one-on-one interaction and support as needed, building trust and rapport with residents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, clear, and timely documentation of resident progress and daily interactions in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards.
- Therapeutic Environment: Deliver care that prioritizes residents’ rights, dignity, safety, and comfort, contributing to a positive and supportive living environment.
