Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience. You will play a crucial role in managing guest flow, maintaining the ambiance of the restaurant, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Utilize POS systems to efficiently manage table assignments and waitlists.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Support the restaurant team by assisting with food service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and enhancing guest relations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
