Chick-fil-A Southridge Center and MacCorkle Avenue are seeking a Marketing & Communications Director to lead strategy, drive local sales, and deepen our connection to the community. This individual will play a vital role on our Director Team and work directly with the Owner/Operator and senior leadership across both stores.
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, strategic, confident and clear in execution. This is not a behind-the-scenes desk job. You’ll be in the restaurants, in the community, and working alongside team members to bring our mission to life.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour (commensurate with experience)

Overall Expected Annual Compensation: Starting at $52,000–$60,000+, depending on experience, weekly hours, and profit sharing participation.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications plan across both stores
- Own relationships with schools, nonprofits, and local businesses to strengthen community partnerships
- Collaborate closely with Catering Directors to support marketing strategy and flawless order execution
- Manage digital and traditional marketing efforts including designing creative social media content, in-store signage, local radio, events, and sponsorships
- Plan and oversee grassroots activations and in-store events that build brand awareness and drive guest engagement
- Maintain a quarterly marketing calendar aligned with corporate campaigns and local needs
- Supervise a team of 4–6 marketing and catering team members for events, setting clear expectations and goals
- Track marketing performance, manage budgets, and report on campaign return on investment
- Participate in store operations as needed, supporting marketing displays, catering fulfillment, or team member development

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations (restaurant/hospitality preferred)
- Experience managing projects and executing campaigns from concept to completion
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Canva (Adobe Suite preferred)
- Strong budgeting and reporting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
- Open availability to work Monday-Saturday, day or evening
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting 40 lbs
