Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with menu recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Clover POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices and adhere to sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Support host/host duties as needed, ensuring guests are seated promptly.
Experience
- Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and customer service.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
