Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing attentive service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling and safety standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods to enhance guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
