Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead daily operations and sales of our restoration company. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business including project management, sales, estimating, production, customer satisfaction, and team development. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry and is skilled at balancing operational efficiency with a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restoration company, including water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration services.
- Lead, manage, and develop department managers (e.g., project managers, estimators, technicians, sales team).
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor and improve company KPIs such as gross margin, job profitability, cycle time, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IICRC, OSHA, etc.), safety protocols, and insurance requirements.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with the marketing/sales team to grow business and local brand presence.
- Report on business performance to ownership or executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in restoration, construction, or a related industry.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Xactimate and restoration industry software (e.g., DASH, PSA).
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) preferred.
- Ability to interpret financial reports and manage budgets.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
