Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a vibrant dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Provide recommendations for food and drink pairings, utilizing upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure all tables are properly sanitized and maintained throughout the dining service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of the meal service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including culinary ingredients and preparation methods, particularly in fine dining settings.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments, is preferred.
- Proficiency with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about new menu items and trends in the industry.
