Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for retail, along with the ability to lead and develop a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing store operations, including inventory control and cash register management.
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills in sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and ensure proper merchandising of products.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Execute HO product direction & make store specific product decisions to drive sales results.
- Foster a positive team atmosphere by promoting collaboration and effective communication among staff members.
- Maintain personal results while training & directing the team to provide customer service.
- Opening & Closing the store. (Including but not limited to reconciling the register, markdowns, transfers, promotion set up, inventory audits and store execution audits)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- Proficient in inventory management and control processes.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
