Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to emulate our commitment to and love of local food and hospitality. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with their purchases, managing stock levels, and maintaining an organized sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
- Provide knowledgeable information about products to enhance customer experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash with care.
- Maintain stock levels by replenishing merchandise on the sales floor and organizing back stock.
- Make espresso coffee drinks and fill deli case food orders.
- Assist in visual merchandising to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills and experience operating a cash register.
- Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management and sales reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards selling and promoting store products.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week
