Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience. You will be responsible for educating customers about various products, assisting with selections based on individual needs, and ensuring a welcoming environment in our dispensary.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs.
- Educate customers on the different strains, products, and consumption methods available.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably in a dispensary or similar environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey product knowledge effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in sales transactions and inventory management.
- Experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- A passion for cannabis culture and a desire to educate others about its benefits.
