Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers find the products they need.
Duties
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing returns.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively assist customers.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions and inventory management.
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Ability to work events as needed, as well as travel included
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling procedures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.

The majority of our items are printed and embroidered right inside our New Haven, CT location. Our equipment can service both the smallest and largest accounts in the country!
