We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Supervise junior staff when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in merchandising and stocking products efficiently on the sales floor.
- Ability to perform product demos that showcase the value of merchandise to customers.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer groups.
