Responsibilities

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring all transactions are processed securely and correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store layout.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.
Skills
- Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Experience in cash handling with attention to detail.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience and understanding.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous.
- Basic retail math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
