Position Location: Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Irvine, Laguna Niguel
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Reporting To: Store Manager, Costa Mesa
Travel Requirements: 30% local travel by car

Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Floater, you will work across multiple store locations, ensuring seamless retail operations, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Managers, following their direction and support, to maintain high operational standards. Your role will be critical in supporting store sales, volunteer coordination, and ensuring customers experience a positive, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Drive sales and exceed performance goals through excellent customer service and client engagement.
- Support Store Managers in maintaining high standards of customer service and merchandising throughout the day.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system independently during shifts.
Operational Support & Collaboration
- Travel and work across various Working Wardrobes locations, assisting with store operations, merchandise pickup, and volunteer coordination.
- Communicate effectively with customers, staff, volunteers, and donors to ensure a smooth operation.
- Support the Store Manager in maintaining a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with Store Managers and Assistant Managers to implement sales strategies and retail success initiatives.
Merchandising & Inventory
- Assist in merchandising the store weekly and seasonally, utilizing knowledge of current trends.
- Process clothing and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Help in the annual inventory audit and ensure efficient inventory control.
Volunteer & Staff Coordination
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and assist with training and mentoring volunteers.
- Assist Store Managers by supporting and providing direction to volunteers on shift.
- Ensure volunteers are engaged and motivated, contributing to the overall success of store operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
