Position Summary
We are currently hiring for our Retail Sales Manager in Training program. This full-time, in-person role is designed to provide hands-on experience in sales, retail marketing, recruiting, and team management. Candidates will work closely with a team and receive structured leadership development to prepare for potential advancement into management roles.
This is not a remote, not door-to-door, and not commission-only position.
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $15 – $38 per hour
- Estimated Annual Range: $45,000 – $80,000 (including base + performance-based bonuses)
- Weekly pay and uncapped commission opportunities
Responsibilities
- Attend in-person training meetings at our Columbia, MD office three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)
- Travel locally to assigned retail store locations to conduct in-person home improvement marketing campaigns
- Lead and manage a team of retail sales representatives
- Promote home improvement consultation services to customers
- Oversee team performance and provide on-site coaching
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process
- Maintain weekly communication with clients to ensure campaign expectations are met
- Participate in ongoing training and leadership development
- Weekend availability may be required depending on campaign needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to commute to Columbia, MD for in-person training
- Must be able to travel locally to retail locations in MD, D.C., and Northern VA
- Experience in sales, retail, customer service, or team leadership is preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
