ABOUT IKIGAI CASES
Ikigai Cases is a family owned e-commerce business selling metal pill cases. The business was started in December 2021 and has been run by two brothers since then from Washington, DC.
Our mission is to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We have committed to these principles by keeping our order fulfillment operation in house and providing white-glove service to our customers.
In 3.5 years, we have crossed 40,000 orders and are selling several thousand pill cases per month. We are looking to find exceptional individuals to join our Washington DC based team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
- Whatever the business needs.
- Process incoming returned packages. Inspect, clean, and grade every returned case—log defects in system and decide resale vs. scrap.
- Own inventory accuracy. Work with supply chain manager to receive inventory shipments. Track inventory and reconcile variances.
- Assist fulfillment team by restock & replenish pick stations. Keeping their space clean, organized and stocked to boost their efficiency.
WHO YOU ARE
- [REQUIRED] Have at least 1 year of experience working as a return specialist or inventory associate

WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE THIS ROLE
The experience you gain from this role cannot be taught inside a classroom or in an online course. The only way to learn how to build an e-commerce company from the ground up is to be there making it happen.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 1 year of full time returns processing or inventory tracking experience
- Located in Washington DC or surrounding DMV area
- Expecting to work 50 hours per week in-person (we are flexible on when those hours are worked following an initial training period)

- $60,000 per year + performance based bonuses
