Reports To: Operations Manager

Pay Scale: $22-$32 per hour

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Revit Drafter / Project Manager to lead and execute drafting duties while managing projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills to navigate a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, obtaining clearances, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and ensuring all work adheres to company procedures and industry standards. In this position, you will play a vital role in rebuilding and revitalizing communities affected by recent fires, directly contributing to projects that restore homes, infrastructure, and hope. Your work will have a lasting, positive impact on various communities by working on Tenant Improvements, Brand New Structures, and Low Rise Residential—helping to shape safer, stronger, and more resilient neighborhoods.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Drafting:

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously while performing Revit drafting duties.
  • Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed drawings and documentation in Revit.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and compliance requirements.
  • Measure properties in all conditions to begin projects. Willingness to measure insurance damage claims (fire damage, water damage, etc.)

Client & Team Coordination:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows.
  • Resolve issues proactively to prevent delays and maintain project efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with plan checkers and other city officials to secure project approvals and permits.

Clearances & Compliance:

  • Obtain and manage project approvals, permits, and regulatory clearances.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant codes, zoning laws, and company procedures.

Adaptability & Fast-Paced Execution:

  • Thrive in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines and frequent changes.
  • Quickly adapt to shifting project priorities and client demands.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in handling multiple ongoing projects.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (mandatory).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance drafting and leadership responsibilities.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction documents and specifications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in securing permits, zoning approvals, or other regulatory processes is a plus.
  • Experience in measuring properties and providing detailed and accurate measurements
  • Education & Experience
  • Currently enrolled in or completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of Revit drafting and project management experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Background in [ commercial and residential] is preferred.

  • Must be able to carry 24” x 36” blueprints and additional documents of various weight. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Occasional exposure at jobsites to a variety of extreme conditions such as dust or dirt, fire-damaged property sites, loud noise level, noxious odors and hot/cold environments, etc.
  • While performing occasional jobsite duties, may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Required to occasionally wear a respirator for their safety.
  • Required to travel to local and neighboring counties to visit property sites, city and county agencies, businesses, and meeting sites with clients.
  • Must be available during regular business hours and weekends as needed.
