QualificationsInertial Aerospace is hiring a full-time technician to join our Ring Laser Gyro team. Position will require exceptional attention to detail. Successful applicant will be self-motivated, able to consistently follow documented procedures, and work efficiently both with a team and independently. Candidate must be comfortable working with sensitive electronics which require ESD safety practices and wearing PPE such as nitrile gloves. Candidate must be capable of following all safety and material handling procedures after proper training. Position will include gyro mechanical teardown, cleaning, and repair. Position requires working in a cleanroom environment. At all stages of the process, maintaining proper inventory records and repair logs will be required.
Preferred Experience:
Fine mechanical assembly and troubleshooting, chemicals/chemistry lab environment, and working in an FAA and/or ISO regulated facility. Experience in an aviation environment is also a plus.
Education:
Preferred: Technical Associate Degree with 5+ years of experience.
Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent with documented experience and demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks.
