What You'll Do:
As a Risk Finance Associate, you will be at the heart of our client service operations, providing crucial administrative support to our experienced Risk Finance Executives while developing your own expertise in managing a dedicated book of commercial accounts. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training , mentorship and progressive responsibility, allowing you to master the following tasks from start to finish:
- Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their servicing needs with professionalism and efficiency.
- Risk Analysis & Consultation: Analyze existing client coverages to identify potential gaps and thoughtfully recommend appropriate solutions for your assigned accounts.
- Renewal Management: Proactively manage renewal lists, conducting thorough reviews to ensure continued appropriate coverage and identify opportunities for multi-line policies. You'll also lead renewal review calls with clients, helping to strategically position their accounts.
- Proposal & Submission Management: Prepare and monitor insurance submissions, craft clear and compelling proposals, and develop comprehensive summaries of insurance for your clients.
- Data & Systems Management: Accurately enter and maintain policy and client data within our advanced client management systems.
- Policy Administration: Process policy endorsements, issue binders, and meticulously check policy documents for accuracy.
- Carrier Relations: Become proficient in navigating carrier websites to effectively manage all client servicing needs.
- Account Integrity: Oversee processes related to non-pay cancellations, ensuring timely and appropriate actions.
- Claims Support: Manage the initial claim intake process, enter claim data into the agency management system, follow up for claim numbers and adjuster information, and proactively manage assigned claims with action plans.
- Team Collaboration: Provide essential support to Account Executives, assisting with proposals, summaries, ordering loss runs, issuing certificates of insurance, requesting MVRs, processing endorsement requests, and entering client data.
- Client Onboarding: Play a key role in welcoming and onboarding new OODA Risk clients, ensuring a smooth transition.

Who We're Looking For:
- A recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree (Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or related fields are a plus, but all majors are encouraged to apply if you have a strong interest in this field).
