Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor
Location: Gettysburg PA
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 9 Weeks with Possible extensions
Order Reason: New Opening
Shift Details:
- Start Time: 3:00 PM
- End Time: 11:30 PM
- Meal Break: 30 minutes
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
Payrate:
- Rate: $52/hr
- Traveler Rate: $58/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience.
- BLS from AHA/ARC
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities across departments.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and NCQA.
- Conduct patient assessments and oversee the administration of medications and treatments.
- Manage patient care documentation using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide leadership in crisis situations, utilizing skills in airway management, IV insertion, and basic life support.
- Oversee utilization management processes to ensure appropriate resource allocation.
- Facilitate training and development programs for nursing staff on best practices in patient care.
- Maintain effective communication with patients’ families regarding care plans and progress.
