Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers coordinated, evidence-based nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role includes supervising and directing the activities of assigned nursing staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and applying clinical judgment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Collects and assesses relevant patient data to identify actual and potential health problems.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and care issues.
- Develops individualized care plans that prescribe evidence-based interventions and achievable outcomes.
- Implements care plans effectively while coordinating with other disciplines.
- Evaluates patient progress and adjusts plans to meet patient goals.
- Identifies desired outcomes for each patient based on their specific health needs and circumstances.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care.
- Educates patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-care.
- Facilitates discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
- Appropriately delegates tasks and oversees duties performed by healthcare team members.
- Provides mentorship and learning opportunities for peers and new staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care experience: Preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License: Required – must be active and in good standing in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR): Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Required (Acceptable equivalents: HS-ACLS, RQIACLS)

Pay: $58.00 - $60.00 per hour
