This is a full-time position, four 9 hour shifts per week plus call (1 night a week and every 5th-6th weekend) offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance and a huge opportunity for growth.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The IR RN is an integral part of the Radiology Team. The major goal of the Interventional Radiology nurse is to provide exceptional quality nursing care to outpatients and inpatients in the IR department. The TMC RN provides nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols already developed for the healthcare organization. The tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

What you will do in this role:

• 
  Assess, plan and evaluate the nursing care needs of the patient before, during and after the invasive procedures.

• 
  Provide nursing care to the patient undergoing the invasive procedures.

• 
  Assist Radiologists during examinations and procedures.

• 
  Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.

• 
  Instruct and educate patients and families.

• Orient and mentor new staff members.

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Current unencumbered South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License

• 
  BLS-Healthcare Provider on hire (American Heart Association)

• 
  ACLS on hire- or within90 days of transfer or new hire

• Prior Imaging, ER, ICU or Procedural experience required.
