RN Labor and Delivery

Job Summary
Position : RN L&D
Location : 100 Madison Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960
Shift : 7pm - 7am
Contract : 13 weeks
Pay Range : $80/hr - $86/hr

Duties

• Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and newborns throughout the labor process.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate care plans.
• Assist in emergency situations, utilizing knowledge of urgent care protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in continuous education and training to enhance clinical skills, including experience with children, geriatrics, and esthetic laser treatment as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• Current RN license for the state of NJ or Compact.
• Active BLS and ACLS Certificate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $86.00 per hour
