Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week night shift contract. This position includes care for both L&D and postpartum patients. The RN may be required to float to Med/Surg, ER, and ICU to assist with call lights only – no direct patient assignments outside of L&D.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Monitor and support laboring patients
- Assist with deliveries and immediate newborn care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Float as needed to Med/Surg, ER, ICU (no patient load – call light support only)
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or State-specific)
- BLS (AHA required)
- NRP certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D and postpartum nursing experience preferred
- Must be comfortable floating to other units for non-patient care support
Schedule:
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3x12 hour shifts/week
- Every 3rd weekend required
- 13-week contract
- Block scheduling available
