Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical/Telemetry team in Arizona. This role offers both day and night shifts with flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of RN experience and a background in Med Surg or Telemetry.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective patient care on a 90-bed double-occupancy unit.
- Monitor, assess, and treat patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, radiation therapy, acute kidney injury, and occasional post-op cases.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and intervene as necessary.
- Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation.
- Participate in unit orientation and required training.
- Support patient education and communication with families.
- Float as needed to Med Surg, low acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills clinic RDU.
- Maintain BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- Wear navy blue scrubs.
