RN - Medical ICU | Travel/Contract
Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Duration: 13-Weeks Contract
Schedule: 12hr Nights
Weekly Pay Range: $1908 $2016 | Hours: 36/week guaranteed
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, lab results, and overall health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage care for conditions such as acute PE, sepsis, COVID, hypothermia, hyponatremia, subdural hematoma, COPD, hypertension.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate advanced medical equipment.
Requirements:-
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Travel RN experience is required
- EPIC charting experience is preferred
Certifications (AHA Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
Licensure:
Active RN license in New York State.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Does not accept local candidates within 75 miles.
