Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg Telemetry unit. This is an exciting travel position ideal for nurses with a strong background in medical/surgical and telemetry care, who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in dynamic healthcare settings.
Duties
- Provide direct, patient-centered care on a Med Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor patients with cardiac and telemetry needs, identifying and responding to changes in patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective care plans
- Utilize ICU and telemetry skills to support critically ill patients when necessary
- Conduct occupational health assessments and assist with specialized procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Athenahealth or similar EMR systems
Requirements
- Active RN license and BLS certification (additional certifications like ACLS preferred)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Med Surg Telemetry or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Previous travel RN experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, medical documentation, and diverse clinical procedures
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various hospital environments and shifts

Pay: $51.00 - $55.00 per hour
