Position: Nurse Manager
Seeking Registered Nurse for leadership position for Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Facility has 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Procedure Room. We perform ophthalmic procedures on Wednesdays and Thursdays, including Cataract, Glaucoma, and Oculoplastic.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and directing nursing care in all clinical areas
- Coordinates and directs patient care and related activities according to accepted standards
- Staff scheduling to adequately meet patient responsibilities
- Orientation of new employees, and annual employee evaluations
- Organizing and monitoring Infection Control activities
- Assists in the implementation and maintenance of the QAPI program
- Participates in facility committees, meetings and activities
- Compliance with OSHA requirements
- Scheduling appropriate staff meetings and in-services
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certification
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in partnership with physicians and other clinicians
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement
- Excellent team building and people management skills
- Operating room experience preferred but not required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
